Pianta biennale, con foglie cuoriformi, vellutate. I fiori di colori molto vari e numerosi consistono in ampi capolini che ricordano grandi margherite.
SEMINA: giugno-luglio in semenzaio o in agosto in terrine che andranno tenute in luoghi ombreggiati.
TRAPIANTO: le piantine vanno picchettate quando compare la prima foglia vera e trapiantate in vasetti posti a svernare sottovetro o in serra fredda.
FIORITURA: dall'inverno alla primavera inoltrata.

Biennal plant, with heart-shaped, velvety leaves.The numerous flowers of various colors have ample flower- heads that remind of big daisies.
SEEDING: June-July in seedbed or in August in bowls that are to be kept in shady places.
TRANSPLANTATION:The plants are to be staked when the first real leaf appears and be repotted in pots located so as to winter under glass or in a cold greenhouse.
BLOOMING: from the winter to well into spring.
