Pianta biennale dai delicati fiorellini azzurro intenso assai profumati. Indicata per aiuole e giardini, cresce bene anche in vasi e cassette sul balcone. Predilige zone umide, infatti è ideale per bordure intorno a vasche, stagni. Si semina in semenzaio a giugno- settembre per poi porre a dimora su terreni freschi, ben concimati e a mezz'ombra. richiede costanti e frequenti annaffiature,ed è buona norma liberare le piantine dai rami sfioriti, per favorire nuovi germogli. Si consiglia di proteggere la pianta durante l'inverno con una copertura di foglie, paglia o torba. Fiorisce da aprile ad agosto.Pianta alta circa 40 cm.

Biennal plant with vividly light- blue flowers, smalll and fragrant. Suitable for beds and gardens but also grow well in pots and window- boxes. Prefers a moist position and is ideal for planting around garden pools. Sow in seed bed from June to September and then plant out in well- fertilized soils with partial shade. Requires very frequent watering. Stems should be removed after flowering to encourage the growth of new shoots.Protect during winter with a layer of leaves, straw or peat. Blooms from April to August. Height about 40 cm.
